A company called DroneSAR is developing an application for drone search and rescue. The software is being developed as part of a joint venture involving Donegal Mountain Rescue and DJI. The app is used in places where people have gone missing and uses sophisticated mapping and detection algorithms
to help locate the people faster than traditional search and rescue.
