This past Sunday at 12:50pm, a British Airways passenger jet is reported to have collided with a drone during landing in London. The aircraft was an Airbus A320 and was returning from Geneva, Switzerland to London, England when the incident occurred. The 132 passengers and 5 crew members were not injured and the plane landed safely. Despite the safe outcome this time, this is still a serious reminder that drones and manned aircraft do not mix. Please follow the rules and don’t fly anywhere near airports or other restricted areas.
