Ever wanted to play a video game in real life? Engineer Nolan Moore used the Nintendo Power Gloves as the basis for a gesture-based controller for the a consumer drone, allowing him to pilot device around with small motions of his hands. He replaced the original electronics in the gloves with with much more modern control boards, Wi-Fi transmitters, and flex sensors. This mix of reality and virtual reality is an exciting development in the piloting of real UAVs.
