Check out this short film shot on location in Patagonia, Chile using the DJI Ronin, Osmo, and Inspire 1. The film, titled The Last Colonizer shows the life of one of Patagonia’s last gauchos, Heraldo Riel. Because it was shot completely on location in the rugged mountains of Patagonia, the equipment had to be light weight and versatile. Director, Brent Foster, was able to use the latest camera stabilization and aerial technology to tell the story of a man who is, by choice, very disconnected from technology and civilization. Although there were many challenges in making the film, the result is a beautiful and moving piece with high production value thanks to the amazing camera stabilization equipment.
