DJI, the Chinese based drone manufacturer and world’s leader in consumer drone sales, is considering a request from the Chinese government to share user data with them. Consumers in the US and Europe are rightly concerned about the privacy implications of this move. While it is unclear whether this willl apply outside of China or how much data will actually be shared, be aware that big brother may be watching where you fly or viewing the video you shoot in the future!
