China is leading the world when it comes to the development and production of drones. A CNN reporter recently visited the headquarters of DJI, the world’s largest drone manufacturer and asked what they thought the future holds for this rapidly developing technology.
According to DJI, we may have hit a plateau in terms of technology development and should expect the rapid advancement in technology to slow down a bit. That said, we can still look out for batteries to continue to last longer and for more specialized applications to be developed for very specific jobs that are well suited to drones. One great example is how drones are being used to track and measure the health of whales in the ocean.
